Watch: Home Keys powers UAE flag world record with 24,514 handprints
Real estate firm joins massive campaign honouring UAE’s Year of Community
DUBAI: In a bold display of unity and patriotism, Home Keys has emerged as a proud partner in a record-breaking achievement led by Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD).
The real estate brand joined forces with PAD to help create the world’s largest UAE flag made of handprints – a powerful expression of national harmony and civic pride.
"Home Keys is proud to announce that we have become a proud contributor of the Guinness World Record for the largest UAE flag, made up of 24,514 handprints," said Abubakar Imtiaz, CEO of Home Keys Real Estate.
Unveiled on 22nd May at the Pakistan Auditorium, the striking artwork measured 12 by 24 metres and featured 24,514 individual handprints from UAE citizens and residents representing over 100 nationalities.
The flag was officially certified by a Guinness World Records adjudicator during a ceremony attended by diplomats, community leaders, and special guests.
Hands of Unity
The initiative formed the core of PAD’s Hands of Unity campaign, which activated 23 educational institutions and 39 locations across the Emirates. Thousands of volunteers and participants left their colourful imprint, transforming a blank canvas into a vivid mosaic that honours the UAE’s inclusive values.
Artist Rubab Zahra led the creative vision alongside Emirates Loves, while the logistical force was powered by dedicated organisations like Home Keys. Their involvement demonstrated how businesses can meaningfully contribute to social milestones that echo far beyond a corporate role.
Tribute to the UAE
“This flag is a celebration of everything the UAE stands for – tolerance, progress, and unity,” said Dr. Faisel Ikram, President of PAD. From school children to senior citizens, the project welcomed every hand willing to paint a future of togetherness.
A moving documentary video and award presentations capped the event, recognising supporters like Home Keys for turning a visionary idea into a record-setting reality – one handprint at a time.
